Northwest Dirt Churners came about during an adventure run with some friends. We talked about a website and newsletter that catered to the trail running community in the Pacific Northwest. Whether you are an ultrarunner with several 100-mile belt buckles or someone who wants to try trails for the first time, this site is for you.

We hope to share with our readers some new groups to run with, some new trails to run on, some new places to toast a beer or coffee to, and some new trail races to compete in. We’ll be doing gear reviews that concentrate on the conditions we run in from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia.

We’ll also feature stories on what makes the trail running culture as awesome as it is with posts about volunteers, race directors, vendors, stewards of the trails we run on or anything else our readers want.

If you have a story you would like Northwest Dirt Churners to cover or would like to be a guest writer about a race or any other tale, contact us through the contact form below.

Lastly, please subscribe to the newsletter to stay up to date on the latest news at Northwest Dirt Churners.

Happy trails!

Shane Darden
