Yes, I know, it is warming up out there and a long sleeve layer isn’t necessarily something you are looking for. The mornings are still cool, and once they open up again, the mountains are unpredictable. If you are looking for something that can keep you warm pre or post-run that isn’t a hoodie, this pullover might be just the thing.

I am 5’ 10”, 155 lbs, and have a men’s medium. While it feels a little big, it does mean I could easily layer items under it on colder days. The slits on the sides of the base mean that it kind of floats around your waste. This means that unlike a hoodie or other pullover with an elastic style base, there is no bunching. It felt a little odd at first, but I like it now. Their arms do have the standard elastic on the ends, which makes sense to me especially as someone who habitually pushes the sleeves of any shirt up my arms. Overall it is a comfy pullover that switches it up from your standard sweatshirt, which I do like.

Besides the design at the base of the pullover, there is one other thing that sets it apart from other pullovers and sweatshirts: a zipper pocket on the left side. This pocket easily fits a larger iPhone, and the zipper glides without issues. I will confess that I do not use the pocket that often, but I do like the fact that it is there.

Overall this pullover does what it was designed to do, and does it well.

Feature Requests

I think the only thing I would say is the material is a dog/cat hair magnet. If there was a way to change that, I would be really happy.

Similar to Ten Thousand, Janji places their logo in an understated way on their gear, and this pullover is no exception. I really appreciate that as it lets the functionality of the piece speak for itself. If you are looking for a pre and post-run warm layer, and want to expand beyond your standard hoodie, the Janji Men’s Circuit Crew Pullover is a solid choice. I really like the design around the base, and the zipper pocket is a nice extra to have.

Like all Janji apparel, the Janji has an understated logo. It’s located on the backside of the Circuit Crew pullover
