Northwest Dirt Churners is partnering with Forest Park Conservancy with the Nasty Challenge as part of the Miles for Forest Park fundraiser. Join us for each of the five Nasty routes in Forest Park or run them on your own. The Nasty routes are challenging courses utilizing the hills and technical trails and fire lanes not commonly used in Forest Park. It’s a great way to learn some new trails.
Those that complete all five Nasties get a Nasty Challenge t-shirt from Territory Run Co. Running with the Northwest Dirt Churners group run is not required for the Nasty Challenge.
Here are the rules to qualify for the Nasty Challenge t-shirt:
STEP 1: Register for Miles for Forest Park and follow the directions to create your own personalized supporter page. A $25 minimum donation is required (or $5 for each Nasty route.)
STEP 2: Sign up for a Northwest Dirt Churners newsletter subscription.
STEP 3: Register to run as many Nasty group runs as you can with Northwest Dirt Churners. Running with Northwest Dirt Churners not required for the Nasty Challenge (see step four.) Check your status on the Nasty Challenge
Hey there, I want to participate but don’t want to give out my credit card info. Can I pay the $25 at the first race/
Thanks
Brian Grier
Sure, Brian. Just make sure you sign up for the Skyline Nasty. There will be representatives from Forest Park at the kickoff party there.
If I run most the routes by my self, will I be added to the “Check your status on the Nasty Challenge” once I post my first run on Instagram?
Just tag @nwdirtchurners and @pdxforestparkconservancy and hashtag the Nasty route (i.e. #flamingnasty) #milesforforestpark and #nastychallenge on Instagram. If you don’t do social media, just send an email to shane.darden@nwdirtchurners.com after you have done the nasty route. Thanks
